From tattoo guns to sending out job applications, there are no in-between steps to adulthood. In a college town, just down the pothole-ridden street called Rosemary Lane, eight friends live together during their last months of college. Holding on tight to wondering memories and good times together, the roommates each face anxieties of their own. With the support of each other, the realities of becoming an adult might not be so tough.

Victoria Heinsohn is a filmmaker and documentary journalist from Saint Charles, Missouri. She will be graduating from the University of Missouri with a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism and a minor in Film Studies. After she graduates, Heinsohn hopes to work towards becoming a cinematographer, production assistant or post-production video editor. Documenting moments in life has always been her narrative. This past year she was able to document college life during a pandemic with seven roommates in her first short documentary. Although Heinsohn has worked on fiction films of her own, 1414 is her documentary directing debut. She hopes her film allows audience members to relate to their college years and the bonds they made then.
