Grappling with the challenges of reporting in the midst of an increasingly polarized society, Galen must reckon with the harsh reality that comes with his chosen profession.

Hunter Pendleton

Hunter Pendleton is a documentary filmmaker and multimedia journalist from Chicago. As a child, he stole his mom's digital point and shoot camera and convinced his siblings into acting on screen; almost 15 years later he's still making movies. His films focus on intimate storytelling and the inherent humor of existing in today's world, foregrounding empathy and collaboration between participant and filmmaker. Pendleton graduates with his degree in Documentary Journalism in May and will continue his education at the University of Missouri pursuing a Master's degree in Photojournalism.
