Many animals on our planet are facing survival crisis. It is estimated that about 150 to 200 species go to extinction every single day. Giant pandas are facing the same survival problem. Through people's efforts, the status of giant pandas was finally downgraded from “endangered” to “vulnerable.” Since media is playing a significant role in animal conservation efforts, endangered animals can not only get attention through media, but also funding. The Panda, as an animal star in the media, actually gets much attention from people. However, can the exposure of pandas help other endangered animals? How can other animal conservation’s media campaigns can learn from the panda’s success? These are the questions that “Saved one” is trying to answer.
