Thomas Rechenberg is making his directorial debut with his short political documentary, The Hat. Originally from St. Louis, Missouri, Thomas worked in New York City in the summer of 2019 as a documentary development intern at NorthSouth Productions. As a graduating senior in the Jonathan B. Murray Center for Documentary Journalism at the nation’s prestigious University of Missouri School of Journalism, Thomas loves the artistic and commercial aspect of documentary film and hopes to pursue a career in the field.
